Stay was fine, but in the room (coming from the bathroom; room Cathedral, nr 3), we could hear very laudly the air system. It was not pleasant. Also the price was rather too expensive for this type of room (very poor decoration, almost no window, not luxury furniture).

This is one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The architecture and design is beautiful and the staff are flawless. I would highly recommend a trip to the spa, it completely surpassed my expectations.

Everything was perfect at this beautiful hotel. The staff went out of their way to make certain that all our needs were met. We particularly loved the cappuccino service to our room at 7 am, and the fact that my clothes were taken away to be beautifully ironed when I requested an iron in the room.

Adored the driver that met our car and followed us to parking and took our luggage in. He was an angel. Hotel staff was fabulous getting us reservations for dinner and information about the town.

Traveled with family and had 4 rooms. Each room was well appointed & clean. The entire staff was outstanding and went above & beyond to accommodate all our needs! Shout out to Moreno, Salvatore, Alessandro, Ciara, Danielle & entire staff for taking care of all our needs!

Thank You for an Unforgettable Evening Last Sunday evening we had the pleasure of hosting a dinner for 35 guests on the occasion of our wedding. It was truly a fantastic experience in every respect. From the warm welcome and delicious canapés to the top-notch service and the stunning location, everything was perfect. We started our aperitif on the terrace with its beautiful view, and the dinner that followed was, in one word, sublime. The wines were excellent, and the service was highly professional, friendly, and attentive. Our guests and we were absolutely delighted. A special thank-you to you personally for your professional follow-up, and to your chef, not only super friendly, but above all a true craftsman.

L'unique défaut est que le petit chien n'est pas accepté au restaurant ce qui nous a poussé à aller souper à l'extérieur, sinon tout était délicieux et parfait! Petit plus pour la gentillesse du personnel (on m'a ramené ma veste que j'avais oublié au départ) et pour le transport en voiturette électrique du parking à l'hôtel.

We visited and stayed in several cities in Italy and La Sommita is by far our favorite hotel!!! The property was convenient, quiet, elegant and yet warm and welcoming. The room was fantastic and room temperature perfect! Each one of the staff were so wonderful, helpful, pleasant and made it an absolute wonderful stay. La Sommita is our favorite hotel of our two week trip in the Puglia region.

The hotel needs to tell the guests more explicitly that the rooms have no real windows.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in Ostuni, surrounded by shops, restaurants,and picturesque narrow alleys. The nightlife bustles around the property with everything just steps away. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. The staff drove you via tuktuk to the parking on demand. We would certainly stay again. What a great spot!

L’hôtel est vieux, décoration kitch. Aucun service - il faut se lever pour demander une boisson autour de la piscine. Le restaurant Cielo est mauvais avec 2.5 hres po ur être servi 4 plats, l’hôtel est hors de prix vs. Service. Au départ, même pas un comment c’est passé votre séjour. Pire séjour relais châteaux de ma vie! Le spa est minuscule et le staff parle à peine anglais ou français. Pas accueillant du tout.

L'hôtel et le restaurant Cielo sont très bien. Toutefois je noterais quelques points qui étaient en deca d'un 5 étoiles. Tout d'abord lors de l'accueil et la présentation de la chambre on m'a indiquer que le minibar était inlcus, j'ai demandé si c'était inclus dans le prix et on m'a reconfirmer, cependant en voyant après la liste des prix du minibar, j'ai contacté la réception, qui m'a dit que ce qui ce trouve dans le minibar est payant, sans s'excuser de la confusion créée. La salle de bain n'avais pas de savon pour les mains nous avons du en demander et elle n'as pas de prise électrique, ce qui est assez étrange alors qu'ils mettent un sèche cheveux à disposition. Le restaurant était très bien sauf pour le conseil du vin, ou j'ai demandé un verre de vin et non une bouteille étant seul à boire, et aucun conseil ne m'a été fournis, on m'a juste apporté un verre montré la bouteille et fais gouter, bon le vin était très bien.

We re ally enjoyed our stay. The staff and accommodations were beyond any of our expectations. The only negative is that you need to consider giving us access to some English TV channels. CNN or other news outlets.

La Somita est comme son nom l indique au sommet d Ostuni. Demeure de charme et caractère avec un accueil chaleureux. Chambre spacieuse. Petit déjeuner dans un jardin d orangers . Restaurant bistronomique.. une halte incontournable de confort et de services pour visiter les pouilles .

Séjour de rêve !

We cancelled our trip due to my wife's illness, 19 days before arrival. We were charged the full 3 nights with no recourse. As you can imagine, we will not deal with this hotel in the future and will not recommend it either.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Sommita. The property is stunning and elegant, and the staff are friendly and efficient. We would particularly like to thank Leonardo for his friendliness when transferring us to the hotel.

Beautifully curated with exceptional artwork, furniture and decor throughout the hotel. Food from breakfast to dinner all excellent. Open plan kitchen a treat to see. Staff seemed proud to work there.

From our first email communications about room availability to our last goodbyes, the service at La Sommita was exceptional. The staff was amazingly kind. They were happy to help arrange activities, local transportation and dining reservations. We felt genuinely welcome and experienced warm hospitality throughout our stay. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary while at the property and the staff made it very special. We had an unexpected glitch in air travel arrangements and they kindly jumped in to communicate with the airline on our behalf since we do not speak the local language. The team communicated well with each other to provide a seamless experience that carried over to different shifts and among different departments. The food was very well prepared and used local ingredients. At the Garden Bistrot I enjoyed a very simple pasta with garlic, olive oil and tomatoes that was the best pasta dish that I tasted during three weeks in Italy.

La Sommità is not just a luxury hotel stay. It’s an unforgettable memorable experience. The staff are phenomenal. No one can deliver exceptional experiences like Relais & Chateaux can! Fulvia was so kind and generous. She is an exceptional manager and human being. I can’t wait to return in the fall. Grazie Mille!
